My journey started back home in Egypt after the Camp David Agreement was signed between Egypt, Israel, and the US. The USAID started to have presence in Egypt and building digital telecommunications networks and gas-fired power plants. I worked for a Top Tier Engineering and Construction Company Bechtel  for 10 Years (5 in Egypt before they moved me to the US).  I then worked for both the Federal Reserve Board of Governors-Procurement Department as a Contract Analyst and then after I finished by MBA worked as the Chief Procurement Office for DC Public School Systems. It was not long until, I got an opportunity of life time to work for Etihad Rail as their Procurement and Contracts Director building the first railway system in the United Arab Emirates connecting the 7 Emirates. It was a great opportunity to build a world-class team and scale up the company to 500 employees. Then I joined Holcim, which the a Blue Chip Building Materials Company in the US and ran their Capital Projects Procurement for the US and Canada. Thereafter, I joined Ammega (a conveyor belt manufacturer in the US) as their Head of Procurement for the Region.
